Fantastic exposed location with a view over Schladming and the Ennstal valley as well as to the opposite located village of Ramsau with the Dachstein mountain.

Our local mountain Hochwurzen at 1.852 m is easily accessible with the gondola lift. Perfect for skiing, tobogganing, hiking, mountain go-karting and much more.
Arriving by car
From Salzburg take the Tauernautobahn to the Ennstal junction, then towards Schladming (Federal Highway 320), exit at Schladming and continue in the direction of Rohrmoos to the Hotel Waldfrieden (approx. 5 km beyond Schladming).
Distance: Salzburg - Rohrmoos (approx. 95 km)
When traveling from Salzburg, please note the extensive tunnel renovations on the A10 Tauern Motorway between Golling and Werfen since September 2013.

From Liezen take Ennstal Federal Highway B 320 towards Schladming, exit at Schladming and continue in the direction of Rohrmoos to the Hotel Waldfrieden (approx. 5 km beyond Schladming).

- In winter, all roads are well cleared. For particularly heavy snow, however, snow chains may be required.
- In Austria a motorway tax sticker is compulsory on all highways (motorway tax stickers are available at rest and service stations).
- Some additional charges for tunnels or tolls may be incurre.
- Reflective jackets are compulsory for all passengers in the car.
